A stunning large 1960s Italian mid century oval wall mirror with scalloped underside edges and a black mirrored 3cm border.  Manufactured by Metalvetro Galvorame of Siena, Italy.  The starburst pattern has an Art Deco style to its design.  A brass hook on the back allows it to be attached to the wall.

The mirror is very well-made, heavy and in good vintage condition with some age-related wear specifically around the outside edges.  I have had a restorer restore the top outside edge where some of the reflective mirrored backing has worn away.  The two top scallop areas are those most affected and a 50mm spot on the left.  Please refer to the images and also to the one of the back where you can see the repair.

Sections of the original label are also visible on the reverse dating it back to 1966.

The mirror would be perfect for a bedroom, dressing room, cloakroom or hallway.
