Antique Chinese 19th century rosewood jardiniere stand or vase stand.
Hand carved in Rosewood, this stand features intricate fretwork with elaborate pierced and carved foliate decoration between the four supports which all feature mythical beast masks.
Carved from a deep rich coloured Rosewood, the condition is very good throughout.
Note: typically with this type of frame construction the inset fret work panels are slightly loose.
There is no worm or damage and the carving is complete throughout. The unit stands even on its 4 feet.
