About this product
This is a great example of the high-quality objects which cabinet makers of the early 19th century used to produce to complement the furniture they had already created. This piece in particular clearly hails from a high-end workshop evidenced by the exceptionally crisp carved decoration and high grade of rosewood used in its construction. Also, the hand-turned threads used to screw the various sections together are quite exceptional in their construction. What a perfect little vessel for holding any number of items around the home from sweets, to some decorative pebbles/stones or even a great place to drop those car keys when you first walk in the door of the house.
