Art Deco Circular Shouldered Display Bookcase Cabinet by Harry and Lou Epstein.

It’s rare to find a cabinet in such wonderful condition. The cabinet is in Burr Maple; one of the nicest and most popular veneer finishes. The three glass shelves are all original. Inside the cabinet the back is mirrored glass. There is no damage, cracks or chips to the glass shelves. There is no damage to the wood on the doors. There is a tiny crack to the veneer on the top of the cabinet, which is hardly noticeable, but mentioned for accuracy.

Harry and Lou Epstein Renowned Furniture Designers

The Epstein Company was founded in 1890’s London by Morris Epstein, father of Harry and Lou Epstein. The Epsteins were a family of designers and producers of art deco furniture throughout the 1930s to the 1950s. They created high end furniture for the home with both quality production and materials like rich veneers in maple, walnut and sycamore. Their designs featured curvilinear silhouettes, the most famous of which being their cloud chairs
