About this product
This bookcase is absolutely typical of the Mid 18th Century when the master craftsman Thomas Chippendale was working his cabinet making magic and many other talented cabinet makers were following then trying to imitate his designs and styles. Dating to around 1760 it has real elegance for a large case piece of furniture and it retains a quite exceptional rich colour and patina. The solid blind panel doors are much rare than the more regularly found glazed panel doors and we think that they are a great addition allowing for whatever items you wish to store in top section to be tucked away out of site with the simple closing of the doors.
