Console Table by Henri Fernandez, France Circa 1970
Henri Fernandez Console
Henri Fernandez left a legacy on design which are now turning back into trends.
In the 1970’s Henri was already designing art furniture which drew inspiration from the natural world. Henri contributed for the collections of many artists back then such as Jacques Duval-Brasseur and Maison Honoré, using noble materials like brass, Agathe stones, and other semi-precious stones.
All the pieces he designed to make a statement and can be defined as art. He defies the boundaries between art and design. It is clear to see the collaboration between the two artists and this console table exemplifies Henri’s work.
