A little unsigned brooch by Countess Cissy Zoltowska we believe to have been made for Christian Dior.

We have included pictures from the Dior book by Francoise Giraud showing a similar CISSY necklace which was made for Dior.

Also pictures of a recognised CISSY brooch identifying the same pointed prong settings on the aurora borealis stones.

This brooch is in superb condition and measures 1.1/4 inch across.

Countess Cissy Zoltowska Trefoil Brooch.

The trefoil design is mounted with large oval poured clear glass cabochons with encased silver crackle foil.

There are three adjacent aurora borealis Swarovski crystals.

The fleur de lys settings for the cabochons are seen both on top and on the underside.

This is a mounting technique so often seen in CISSY jewellery.

Together with the use of crackle-foiled cabochons, the pointed prong settings and the French trombone clasp, clearly identify this as a CISSY piece.
