A rare early Victorian teak campaign stationary cupboard. Made from Teak, with brass carrying handles to the sides, 4 panelled doors with brass locks.
The doors open to reveal a cupboard with an adjustable shelf, and 12 pigeon holes, the base comprises of 8 drawers with inset brass military handles, all supported by turned feet. The lock is stamped with the makers mark G&R Barron Patent Strand. The cupboard splits into two parts, made this way for easy transportation while the military were on the move.
This is a beautiful piece of campaign military furniture and is in good condition with a mellow colour and original patina.
