A truly outstanding piece of 1950’s American history – a magnificent 27 piece crystal glass punchbowl set, made by Williamsport and comprising:

1 Large punch bowl

1 Detachable stand (another upturned bowl)

12 x hanging cups in square form

12 x original plastic hooks

Original plastic ladle

Sadly the original box was wet and damaged beyond repair but I managed to photograph it before it was destroyed.

Condition of the set is exceptionally good. All cups, hooks and base appear to be in perfect condition, as far as I can tell. The large punch bowl, in thick, heavy crystal glass has a couple of small chips on opposite edges that are easier to feel rather than see. Also a few minor nibbles along the edge that feel a little rough but aren’t visible. I’ve tried to photograph the 2 larger chips but they really are insignificant in terms of how impressive the whole set is. And especially when the 12 cups are hanging around the punch bowl edge.
