Finely knotted with a thin velvety pile, this is a lovely example of tribal weaving from southern Persia. The repeated use of the Qashqai emblem dominates the design. Subtle colours have been used to create a very harmonious rug. Note the charming botehs in the spandrels. This is a lovely piece which would work equally well on the floor or wall. Professionally cleaned.
