A pretty example of Khamseh weaving, with the ubiquitous three medallions on a sapphire blue field surrounded by myriad geometric ornaments. The ivory border with repeating eight-pointed ‘Lesghi’ stars is very attractive and frames the composition beautifully. The size is a bonus, small and squarish, which allows for flexible use in many spaces. The warm colours and lovely jewel-like ornamentation would enhance many types of settings. Worn nicely to give it the desired lived-in look. Professionally cleaned in our workshops and ready to be used.
