Large 1970s German Peill & Putzler plafoniere, space-age, opal glass with a lighter striped pattern flush mount ceiling light. The opal striped-glass circular shade is fixed onto the white lacquered metal frame/bulb holder with three interspersed metal clips which screw into the rim of the shade holding it in place.
The glass is curved and rounded at the edges and bulbous in the centre with the stripes running across the whole body of the shade. The flush mount is also relatively large, making it a good choice for a variety of spaces with a low ceiling. It would be a beautiful focal point in a living room, dining room, or bedroom to add a something a little different and striking especially if there is a low ceiling.
In very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Two E27 screw in lightbulbs are required. Rewired by a professional electrician and in full working order.
