About this product
Mid-Century Czech Zukov Black and White Milky Glass Hanging Light
£395.00
1960s Czech three-shade cascading ceiling hanging light.  Each thick glass shade is hand-painted in a different geometric design to the other.  The shades are suspended from a three-prong plastic star shaped ceiling fitting.  A wooden oak scrolled fitment with beautiful grain sits above each shade.  They may not be original and could be painted black or replaced with chrome tubes to make them more contemporary but I like them the way they are but that’s subjective.
An Edison E14 screw in candle bulb is required in each one preferably a dimmable LED.  The light glows with subtle diffused milky white light throughout the shade.
Made in Czechoslovakia.
The wiring has been checked by an electrician. Â A small chip is situated on the top edge of one shade where the chrome cap meets the glass which is barely noticeable.
