A rare original 1960s Italian Murano glass and brass pendant lantern hanging ceiling light.
Designed by Gaetano Sciolari for Sciolari Lighting. The Murano handblown glass oval shade has a beautiful engraved mottled patterned surface with amoeba shaped frosted spots. The shade is supposed on a brass frame with a deep almost black patina. The lantern is suspended from an adjustable chain.
Rewired by a professional electrician and is in full working order. A single E27 Edison screw in lightbulb is required.
It is in very good vintage condition.

Having researched the exact provenance for this pendant we have noticed it being misrepresented as being designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni. This light has the original label stating Sciolari.
