Mid-Century Italian Two Shelf Angled Chromed Metal Floor Lamp

1970s Italian polished chrome floor lamp incorporating two small shelves with clear toughed glass inserts. The tubular chromed-metal upright supporting column which supports the two parallel shelves is supported by a black lacquered wooden square base with chrome trim around the bottom. An opaque glass circular shade is fitted to the end of the upright tubular support which is angled to illuminate the objets on the shelves below. An unusual floor lamp which would be a perfect to. illuminate a dark corner in most rooms of the home.

There is some pitting and wear to the chrome in places especially to the chrome strips at the bottom of the black lacquered wooden base. The wooden base has some dents in places. None of these issues distract from the piece.

A round black on/off foot operated switch is fitted to the flex. Rewired and in full working order. A single small pygmy B22 Bayonet lightbulb is required.
