This rare rosewood sideboard was designed by Robert Heritage and manufactured by Archie Shine.

Manufactured in the late 1950s, the elegant Danish style design has a long rectangular top over four reeded drawers and two cupboards with removable shelves, the piece is raised on four narrow tapered legs.

Robert Heritage – Designer

The beautiful long sideboard was from the ‘Hamilton Rosewood range’ an award-winning design for Archie Shine in 1958. It features wonderful reeded drawers, rosewood book-matched veneered doors and turned wooden trumpet pulls.

Condition

In good midcentury condition, it has been carefully cleaned and re-polished this sideboard to preserve its natural original appearance. There are still some minor age-related marks and wear but nothing that detracts from the overall look and functionality of the piece.
