Original artwork, gouache on art-board. This detailed large artwork was created only for the use on the British VHS video cover. It is exceptionally rare. Original artworks rarely surface as the majority were destroyed. This science fiction film was directed by Wim Wenders. The film stars William Hurt, Solveig Dommartin and Sam Neill. The film is set in the futuristic year of 1999, and tells the story of a woman whose life changes forever when she’s involved in a car crash with some robbers, which she survives. She gets entangled with fugitives, and on the run from the bank robbers, CIA, etc., travels the globe with one such fugitive, who is trying to keep hold of a device that his father invented to record dreams and vision. It is also conservation framed with UV plexiglass in a Tulip wood frame with card mounts. The size given is before framing. The framed size is 39 x 28 1/4 in. (99 x 71.8 cm)
