The back is a classic Chanel pierced gilt metal mount, marked FRANCE.

Given the age of this brooch, it is in excellent vintage condition with the paste stones clean and undamaged. The Gripoix cabochon pearl petals have no peeling and there in minimal signs of wear
A rollover clasp secures. Size: 2.1/2 inch diameter.
The mark FRANCE is a typical Chanel mark from this period, before the time when the later CHANEL mark was used.
