An “S” hook clasp and extender chain completes the necklace.

Although unsigned many of the earlier creations were made for Dior’s salon fashion shows, often commissioned from the Paris ataliers to complement Dior’s couture creations.

I believe this necklace to be a Couture piece, designed for the catwalk and therefore not signed. It is a bold and stunning necklace and not the delicate necklace you might expect for a Dior! Wonderful and Amazing probably a one off and therefore not signed.

This necklace speaks for itself.

It has all the trademarks of early Dior.

The “S” clasp is a signature feature of Dior’s necklaces and the extension chain is constructed with chased metal connection rings – again a feature of Dior jewels.

The length is 24 inches with a 2 inch extender.

In very good vintage condition.
