A vintage 1940s French Sautoir necklace with three rows set with a mixture of round and nugget-shaped turquoise Gripoix, pate de verre, glass beads with baroque glass pearls and gilt metal spacer beads.
The back of the clasp is signed Made In France.
The quality is superb and the weight is substantial, This is undoubtedly an early piece made for one of the major couture houses in Paris.
All three rows have been re-strung on new silk and is therefore secure and strong.
Length of 17 inch with drop of 5 inch.
