A large dimensional brooch by Max Muller is a stunning piece and dates from the 1950s.

The garland design is set with graduated clear navette rhinestones with sprigs of clear and sapphire rhinestones around three large glass lapis lazuli cabochons.

The stones are layered over the lapis cabochons, giving a lovely dimensional effect.

The back is a plate of aged anodised brass which holds a roll-over clasp set on a .925 sterling silver bar.

Vintage Max Muller Lapis Lazuli Glass Cabochon Brooch Circa 1950s.

Max Muller is one of the most prominent West German designers from Kaufbeuren Neugablonz (New Galblonz).

We are fortunate to have obtained a number of Max Muller pieces from a German collector of Max Muller. These pieces of original stock were obtained when the factory was sold in 1987.

This brooch is a fine example of the classic and intricate design features so often seen in Max Muller pieces.

A lovely collector’s piece.
