An unusual vintage 1970s Sautoir Necklace which we believe to have been made by Henkel & Grosse, Germany.
The glass elements are possibly made by Maison Gripoix for Grosse.
The necklace is not marked however, the quality of construction, design and glass elements indicate a high-end creation. Henkel and Grosse often used the hand symbol as a key element in their designs.
A simply shepherd crook hook clasp secures, often used in pieces by Henkel & Grosse.
Length of necklace 32 inches with pendant length of 3 inches.
A lovely fresh and unusual vintage fashion statement.

Vintage Turquoise Gipoix Glass Sautoir Necklace by Henkel & Grosse
The single-row “Snake” chain is wired with turquoise poured glass, Pate de Verre, beads.
A pendant in the form of a clasped hand in black ebony has a selection of charms suspended from a swinging handle.
The charms represent a fish and heart in gilded metal and three pear fruits in turquoise pate de verre glass.
