Cold caste bronze figurine of a young Maasai couple.
A cold caste (or bonded) bronze is a mixture of resin and bronze powder. Once the original sculpture is complete, a mould is created; a liquid mixture of resin and bronze powder is then poured into the mould. After removal from the mould, the completed sculpture is then finished off by hand.
